Oh come on now, how can you blame HMV? is it their duty to tell u jay chou fans what kind of version is coming in and what freebies u can expect? what if a japanese import suddenly comes in, or even a second version for the local record co?
I am surprise being a fan, you did not even know what was in the taiwan import, hk import etc etc....i use to be a fan of chinese pop singers...and hey we were super well informed on when to buy what. haha

People never fail to amuse me. Their intention of buying the album is for the CD, yet they are complaining over a stupid printed calender.

If this is the worst thing for you then you have a very fortunate life indeed.
The simple solution, if you want the calendar so badly then get another CD, and give away one of the CDs to a good friend. You get the calendar, and your friend the CD.

I'm not really a fan or member of a fan club where they keep everyone informed.
I'm just a busy working adult in office who buy his cds regularly that's all.

i can understd yr feeling of being cheated. next time don't rush to pre-order. even tho jay chou's is hot cake, usually will hv stocks after release date de. different versions come out after the release date too. so u actually hv more choices if u wait a little.
jay chou cds rarely have gei ban one.

on sunday, I was really angry, just getting off steam.
then yesterday night, saw from a cd shop in somewhere offtown they allow separate sale of calendar. Not like HMV so inflexible to ask customers to buy CD again to get calendar!

have been their customer for some old CDs in the past, but never expect them to play so "dirty"!!

Then HMV certainly played it bad this time, they lost a customer.
Flexibility and EQ of that ulu cd shop earns me as a customer. What's more, their CD is cheaper than HMV (what I noticed, though I bought calendar separately).

If it's 3 months later, then I can understand and not blame them. Now it seems like they're withholding information because of sale tactic! This is why I'm so angry, I feel cheated not given full information at time of pre-order!!!!!
This is not "withholding information". This is called business strategy. kudos to HMV for planning the timing so well..... I know it feels shitty when you fall prey. i oso kena b4. What to do? just L L lor....... -
