Hi,
I am Nicholas Tan. Currently I am in the midst of introducing a relatively new line of bowling equipment, to Singapore.
Lane #1 has been around for 11years now. There have been previous attemps to bring Lane #1 bowling balls into Singapore before, however these attemps have not been very successful.
I will agree that the prices are higher than most other lines of bowling products. However, I am still negotiating with Lane #1 to work out a more suitable pricing for our local market. Currently, there are few who own Lane #1 euipment here in Singapore. I am now using a Cherry Bomb,Emerald Pearl and the Blue Berry Buzzsaw, which are all by Lane #1, and I'm loving it.
I do understand that many are skeptical about Lane #1 bowling balls. Someone mentioned in the Lane #1 website forum about the prices. He said that although the prices are steep, for those who "dare to spend that little bit more", they will realise that it is well worth their money. Lane #1's bowling balls are really more aggressive than other balls, and this shows in the "pin carry". Their cores are made up of modified 2-pieces to 5-pieces. Balls of weight 13lbs and above have the same core design, thus the same hitting power with a lighter weight.
Currently I have with me, a 13lbs Super Carbide ball(undrilled).
It is a dull ball,selling for S$280.00.
