E-GAMES SPECIAL
COUNTERSTRIKE COMPETITION 2000
E-Games will be organizing a Counterstrike 5 vs 5 competition in September 2000. This competition is in conjunction with ‘teenage.com.sg’. It will be held on the 8th September 2000 and all Counterstrike clans are invited. It is the opportunity to prove your skills and abilities against the best of Singapore clans.
PRIZE DISTRIBUTION
The total prizes and cash are amounted to about $1000
1st Prize: $250 + Freebies
2nd Prize: $200 + Freebies
3rd Prize: $150 + Freebies
4th Prize: $100 + Freebies
TEAM / ELIGIBILTY
Each team will consist of 5 players and 1 reserve player. Only registered players and reserves are allowed to participate in the tournament. Should any team have unregistered players, the team will be disqualified immediately. Please bring along your prove of identity and be punctual. Each team must have their own team names and a leader to represent them.
REGISTRATION
The registration fees will be S$30 per team (5 members with 1 reserve) inclusive of gaming time. The registration fees are non-refundable if you did not turn up for the competition or whatsoever. Registration starts tomorrow (4 September 2000). We will only agree to only 2 teams per clan. There will only be 16 seatings available so do hurry before is too late. Registration forms and payment of fees are to be made at E-Games upon registration.

SYSTEM OF THE COMPETITION
1. Qualifying rounds will take off on Friday (8 September 2000) from 4pm – 8pm. It will be running a knock out system.
2. Quarterfinals, Semi-finals and Finals will be held on Saturday (9 September 2000) from 4pm – 8pm.
3. Each team will consist of 5 players and 1 reserve.
4. The match will consist of 2 20-min halves. One team will play as CT or T in one half and will swap to the other in the next half. 1 map will be played in each match. The team winning both halves will win the match. If the teams win one each, the one with the most wins for both halves will be the winner. If so happen it is a draw then there will be a 10-min extra time for both sides.
5. Cheats are strictly prohibited.
6. Mo talking is allowed during the match.
7. Chase cam will be on.
8. Any team caught breaking any of the official rules will be disqualified.
9. The management reserves the right to change the rules at any point when is needed.
10. No personal IT related equipments are allowed.
