help!!

  This error keeps on popping up when i try to start certain key programseg backup.exe or system info etc
  this is an example of the error when i tried to start frontpage express
  
  The MSVCIRT.DLL file is linked to missing export MSVCRT.DLL?_U@YAPAXI@Z.
  
  C:\Program files\frontpage express\bin\fpexpress.exe
  A device attached to the system is not functioning

  Reboot into Repair Mode and copy MSVCRT.DLL from C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\DLLCACHE to the C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32 directory. This fix worked for me after many days of frustration.
