Here's the untitled poem. Dedicated to a group of friends who graduated one year before me
I sat there thinking
Of an opening
For a poem with meaning
Dedicate to you people who are graduating.
Sadness wells
I rather not dwell
Thinking of happy moments that were really swell
It always rings a bell.
The times we spent
Often till our very last cent
Our curfews we reluctantly bent
Chatting and laughing to our hearts content
Our 'sim su' sessions
Was a time for confession
To get rid of the depression
It never fails to leave an impression.
Do remember this, it is a must
Do not let our friendship turn into dust
Something so beautiful, 'coz it's build on trust
Unlike iron, it's not meant to rust.
And so, forget me not
Don't let your memory rot
Although on the map our country is just a dot
It's here that i found you precious lot!
