Another Jobless Singaporean
On A Hot Day, On A MRT Bound For Nowhere
I Met Up With A Middle Age Friend
As we talk about life, My Friend say I've Made My Living
From understanding other People's Actions,
And Knowing What Their Game Was
By The Way They Work In The Job
Making Use of them to achieve what I need.
So If You Don't Mind My Saying,
I Can See You're Out Of Job Just Like Me.
He Said Let Me Give You Some Free Advice,
The MRT Turn Quiet As His Face Turn Sad & Haggard
He Said My Friend If You're Going To Work In A Job,
You Got To Learn To Work It Right
You Got To Know
When To Endure & Stay,
Know When To Give Up & Walk Away,
Most Importantly, You Must Know When To Run away.
You Can Never Highlight Your Achievements
When You're Working There.
Because That Is Always Your Responsibility.
There'll Be Time For People To Comment On
Your Failures When You Are No Longer There.
Now, Every " Successfully" Career Man Knows
The Secret To a "Successful " Job Is
Knowing When To Stay
Knowing When To Leave
Because Every Job's A Winner
And Every Job's A Loser
And The Best You Can Hope For
Is To Collect Your CPF When You Reach 55.
So When As He has Finished Speaking
He Walk Out Of The Train As It Reach The Station.
Hopefully, Somehow & Somewhere
My Middle -Age Friend Will Find His Cozy Corner
To Past His Time Away
Until He have enough $$ for Him to Stop Working.
