He became quiet this week. Last week still act cockily, made threats against Aljunied GRC residents.
Then suddenly kept quiet.
He is lucky to have escaped in this elections with walkover.
I think Lee Kuan Yew may have kept silent because of his poor health. But I want to urge PAP supporters, please vote correctly. If you vote wrongly, PAP might lose many seats. Just like you, I want PAP to win. REMEMBER THAT EVERY VOTE COUNTS.
Some elderly Singaporeans and first time voters, maybe due to their inexperience in the voting proccess, think that to vote PAP, they simply have to put a mark against the lighting bolt logo. THIS IS INCORRECT.
THE CORRECT WAY OF VOTING FOR THE PAP IS TO PLACE A CROSS NEXT TO THE OPPOSITION LOGO, TO SHOW YOUR DISSATISFACTION FOR THE OPPOSITION.
This is an established voting procedure in every democratic country. The logic behind it is simple. If a teacher marks an exam paper, she will place a cross next to the answer that is wrong. In the same way, if you feel that the policies proposed by the opposition party is wrong, you need to place a cross next to the opposition logo. So vote PAP. For another 5 more good and prosperous years!
I talked to some of the people (walkover) and the feedback I get is that shouldnt the grassroots or the mps do the walking and shake hand with the residents and talk to the residents and assure the residents that they will make tanjong pagar a wonderful place to live in?
Shouldnt they make an effort to talk to the people even though it is a walkover?
The mps and grassroots just cannot simply disappeared and never come to the house visit or market visit.
That is not a good move...plse mps, go and talk to the residents and handshake them. Have a strong rapport with the residents, you never know, the next ge, you might get a opp to contest you.

Walkover already mah, you think the MPs there give a hoot?
That is the problem those mps are.
They dont really care a hoot.
Until the hatred boil over, then started to get worry and say sorry? Too late liao.
They don't have to worry about the next one, simply because, there won't be a next one.
