Hahah.. I read an article on ST yesterday in which a PAP candidate concluded that students and parents actually liked competition in school from foreign students. If the PAP loves competition so much why don't they let the opposition win more seats so they will have more competition in parliament?
For me, between competition and an unfair advantage, I would choose having an unfair advantage any day. I suspect the most other people will too!
bcos they neber publish those who say no like.
PAP loves competition, and it is in the interest of PAP to establish 3-yearly election campaign instead of 5 yearly term. In this manner, it surely stimulates the opposition, and especially the ruling party, to ensure a long term prospect of a better Singapore for both Singapore citizen and foreigners, through competition.
i think what's a farce here is that in every facet of life in SG... the pap has introduced and talked about the need to have competition, and for the people to embrace competition....
and so we have to compete with FT, we have to compete in schools, we have to compete in business, we have to compete in the economy....
but the only sphere in which there is no competition is the political sphere, where pap has for so many years attempted to crush competition, so much so that pap policies goes unchallenged, ministers' salaries is pegged at a high level, and we breed an elitist political class as a result of this
Bingo! For the PAP there needs to be competition in ecevrything, except politics. And we get fed all these mantras and we keep hearing these mantras get repeated in the Straits Times that after a while we do not question it anymore

Which disgusting PAP candidate is that, who welcomes Singapore schools to be flooded with aliens?
Vote the opposition in, and give the incumbent party some competition.
Competition is good.
I know in NUS, Singaporeans do not want to major in Math because they thought they'll not beat the China students. As a result, there are less Singaporean Mathematicians now. This means foreign talents have reduced our local talents. Next time there will be no Singaporean Math major to teach in our schools. This will result in poorer Math education in Singapore. Then there will be even less going to major in Math in NUS. This vicious cycle will completely kill Math in Singapore.
Now replace the word "Math" in the above paragraph with the word, "English", "Chinese", "Science", "Engineering", "Computer Science", etc. Soon we shall have no talent in Singapore. This is the side effect of having foreign talent. It gives a short term benefit but a long term damage.
PAP are nothing but the traitors of Singapore.
They have no patriotism at all.
Just look at that filth of a PAP candidate who wants schools to be flooded with aliens.
Makes my blood boil.
They like having the cake and eat it. Open but not open. What they do must be good for you. You just listen. And obey.
Do as I say, not as I do
