New immigrants organized cheer team to support PAP

A group of new immigrants came to the Singapore Chinese Girls’ School (SCGS) nomination centre yesterday. Although not wearing any white attire which symbolizes the People's Action Party, their level of support does not lose to those PAP supporters present at the centre. The group kept shouting slogans, "Sam Tan sure to win" and "PAP sure to win", at the square of the nomination centre, immediately attracting the attentions of many of the PAP supporters there.
This 55-person cheer team was led by the managing director of Xu Run Holdings, Ms Zhang Runzhi (age 42). She is a new immigrant. She came with her husband to Singapore in 1990 and became a local citizen 17 years ago.
Although Ms Zhang belongs to Choa Chu Kang GRC, she decided to bring her staff to SCGS nomination centre to support PAP because they greatly admire Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew and she also felt that this election would be intensely fought (TP GRC nomination was at SCGS).
It is understood that the staff gathered at the company located in Bukit Batok at around 10am in the morning. They then took a chartered bus to SCGS nomination centre from the company.
One of the interviewed staff, Xie Junping (age 23) said that he belongs to Tanjong Pagar GRC and that the GRC was very well managed by the PAP team. Another staff, Jing Yunqi (age 32) said that Singapore has given outsiders many opportunities or otherwise she wouldn't be staying in Singapore for 13 years.

seems like these are the only people left in Singapore who would support PAP.
I think after May 7 electoral defeat, PAP will greatly increase the number of immigrants to boost their votes in future elections.

When things are reduced to such a state, you know that it is time to change the ruling regime.
Those who are still supporting PAP are harming Singapore society.
The PAP cannot be supported in this general elections.
We must reject the PAP.
Do the right thing and Vote the PAP out on May 7.
Save Singapore from being overrun with aliens.
The PAP doesn't have an incentive to stop the flood, because these aliens are the only ones left in Singapore who would vote for them, the rest are all sick and tired of 50 years of PAP rule.

Admires LKY and understands Sg politic are two diff things.
These ex-commies with no-voting right in China simply dont understand the dynamic of local politic and should shut up, stay out of local issue.
Otherwise, the local resentment of them will only grow and grow.When this happen, blame no one but themselves for imposing their behavours on the local and for their inability to empathise with local communities.

I agree that immigrants and granting of citizenship to them is PAP's tactic of getting votes because the current ruling party knows how disenchanted locals are. Workers Party: When you win don't forget to get rid of the ang mos too.

What can sporean do?
New immigrants cheer for the pap. That is their right.
Opposition members must not let this issue gone over their head.
Concentrate on the rally and win seats and get in to the parliament.

I think, gradually, the new immigrants will want to have a even better life and will want to have their voice heard and will want to see what offer the oppositon can give. New immigrants are smart.
