Hi guys, I'm currently overseas in some damn ulu part of the world but thank god still have internet access here.
I called home today and my mom told me that I've received a voting letter but the thing is I'm overseas with SG embassy or whatsoever. It doesn't even make sense if I need to fly back just to cast a vote.
Do I have to vote or just ignore the whole thing altogether?
Thanks in advance.
erm, you did not need to vote if you had planned your holidays on election days before election day was announced
Jiani is correct.

Last elections in 2006, my wife and I were overseas. We had to restore our name. However, all I did was state that we were overseas for holiday prior to announcement of election date and our names were restored automatically online.
The Elections Departments did not request for any details nor copy of travel documents.
