Think about it.
Does it make any sense?
You have to report to the polling station where they verify your particulars. it's compulsory. But on the voting slip, there will not be any identification.
Voting slip carry serial number.
The serial number won't linked to your IC... but maybe is use for identification of which GRC/SMC the vote comes from...

Its to prevent adding in extra voting slips. If there's no number, it can be viewed as kelong cos you can just throw in 50 extra votes.
checked!

Those are rumours only

I know several civil servants who have been voting opposition... didn't seem to affect their advancement, even can become school principle sial.
Seriously, enough with the rumours already. Choosing our government, as even the ruling party has said and assured us, is our right and we should exercise that.
Why stop at votes? Can also track IP here and identify who is the "noise" online and move them to the back of the queue for HDB mah. Why wait 4 years? They not so boliao or stupid to do such a thing.
But seriously... if 33.7 percent of the population voted opposition last GE, do you think it's in the PAP's best interest to further alienate this 33.7 percent by giving them a tough time... that the upgrading carrot has backfired in Hougang and Potong Pasir says a lot. Threatening people with such means usually ends up making people even less inclined to listen to you, not the other way round.
