SINGAPORE: The
Singapore People's Party is loaning three of its members to The Reform
Party, after they signed Memorandums of Understanding on the matter.
One
of them is 51-year-old Mr Frankie Low who was unveiled last night as
part of the Reform Party's West Coast GRC team helmed by its
Secretary-General, Mr Kenneth Jeyaretnam.
The other two are Mr Alex Tan, and Mr Jay Ting.
The
SPP says it is doing this, "in the spirit of opposition alliance and
support" and "looks forward to more such opportunities for greater
collaboration amongst opposition parties in Singapore."
As of
now, the Reform Party has confirmed it is contesting West Coast GRC only
- as the party wants to avoid any three-cornered fights.
