The outcome of this year's general election in Singapore may result in the fate of Telok Blangah residents going in many possible directions.
Located in the southwest region of Singapore, this suburb is partitioned between the parliamentary constituencies of Telok Blangah (part of West Coast Group Representation Constituency) in the western half, and Radin Mas Single Member Constituency (formerly part of Tanjong Pagar GRC) in the east. The residents of Telok Blangah estate are predominantly from the public housing precincts built by the Housing and Development Board in the 1970s. A significant number of them are elderly and have lived most of their lives in the suburb.

LOL... You dont know Hougang well enough. In a traffic light junction, 2 GRCs side by side... one side Pasir-Ris Punggol GRC one side one side Aljunied GRC when its in Hougang.
Within Hougang, there's 2 GRC and 1 SMC... and now there's even more... Ang Mo Kio GRC.

The hougang one I know where exactly you're talking about lol. Reminds me of those cowboy movies where one side of the town is at war with the other.
So cool lor. Every morning I have to cross from aljunied grc, to hougang smc, and then back to aljunied grc to take my transport.
My gf has to cross and overhead bridge to tanjong pagar grc, from radin mas smc to buy breakfast.

Cant imagine if PAP loses one GRC over there.... then I can see the boards of the GRC getting bigger and bigger....

Only exception is me.... My primary school and secondary in the same smc... Haha... Uni and poly in the same GRC.
Currently, we have 2 Hougang and 2 Toa Payoh, will we see more of these?

We had 2 Bukit Batoks and 2 Nee Soons in 1991, didn't we? Pity all that was gone in 1997.
I would have wanted Clementi instead of Pioneer to be carved out as a SMC for Kenneth Jeyeratnam to fight head-on with Arthur Fong. If RP could win it, it would be interesting to see how Clementi New Town would be like under two different parties. (RP in CLE, PAP in West Coast GRC).

Why not the other way round? ie: PAP in CLE, RP in West Coast GRC.
Opposition really cannot win a GRC?
Radin Mas will be a lost chance for all opp if they are silly enough to lock horns in a 3 or 4 corners fight.
