PAP provides steady hand, says DPM Teo

THE People's Action Party is the real insurance policy that Singaporeans should get to ensure their continued prosperity, said Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean on Thursday.
He was rebutting the Workers' Party's argument that Singaporeans should vote for the opposition in case the PAP fails.
The upcoming general election is ultimately one about who citizens can put their trust in to ensure 'a good strong government' and 'long term good' for the country, he added.
His remarks came at the end of the introduction of the People's Action Party's sixth batch of new candidates for the general election. He is also the party's 2nd assistant secretary-general.
The three latest candidates are: Dr Intan Azura Mokhtar, 35, an educator; Mr David Ong Kim Huat, 50, a businessman; and Mr Lawrence Wong, 39, a former civil servant.
In his concluding remarks, DPM Teo said that Singapore had made 'vast improvements' in terms of healthcare, education, public transportation and home ownership.
He said that compared to the United States and Britain, Singapore used to lag in these areas but now had surpassed them, 'in spite of not having any natural resources'.
'The PAP offers a steady hand, and a proven and trusted leadership to guide us through the challenges of the years ahead,' he said.

Yes spore is a nice country, good place to bring up kids, good security, no riots no protests, no shooting, very much a free and clean country.
Thank you so much pap for making spore a conducive environment to live.
But. with the on going increas in prices across the board, it make pple life more and more difficult. There is little saving every month. That is why many people are not that happy with this issue. If it drags on and on, your votes might get affected.
Giving rebates or cash to offset all those increase cost is simply asking you to pay $10, and then simply telling you that I give rebates by returning you $1. This tactics wont work now. Lots of people already know your tactics.

The success of Singapore is because of its people and the system, more importantly is the people are kind, lovely, compassionate and wise, and not solely its party per se. Singapore people are resilience and benevolent, they would continue to survive tremendous hardship even if PAP keeps on increasing its price, Why? because people of singapore love singapore so much that they want singapore to survive with love

pap insurance FIXED enormously set very high.
opp insurance ..... if bargain mayb tehy can still give discount.

PAP should stop talking down to singaporeans. We are not stupid. If anything, the PAP insurance is the priciest form of its kind where value for money is concerned.

aside to several other discontents, personally as men, we are pissed off with an overemphasized women charter ...
they had better find a solution to a balanced gender policy....else, in 10 to 20 years time, half of their empire would be gone because of women
