Cos since the last election 2006, everythting has gone in the oppsite direction.

Reason: We are taken well care...i don't think Reform Party can offer us and they only hear our voice and nvr do..just say dun do and i didn't even seen them and even they come i will sure not vote for them...and the MPs have managed the town well...

Thanks for your reply, but judging from the "ground" most singaporeans seem fed-up. It's not abt managing well. Look at Hougang and Potong Pasir, this areas have also been managed well. Look at what has happened after last election 2006.
1) Floodgates opened up, foreigners swarmed in, prices of everything went up.Prices of HDB went up overnight.
2) Lehman Bros crisis, town councils ventured in and got "burnt".
3) Inflation has gone up tremendously, wages have not, y? GDP output was more important,thus there is a big gap between inflation and wages.
4) Foreign Talent - Government has recently tightened the influx, cos they admitted, that PRs are given out so easily. Many have attributed this as a government oversight.
So you decide, if the world class salaries paid justify the frustrations experienced by Singaporeans,.

I see not much hope that the situation will reverse in the favour of opposition. You might like to read this, my personal experience last Sunday.
Got it up at kopitiam but the people there are a joke and TR never bother to publish it.

When was the last time you see Arthur Fong?
What did you ask the Reform Party to do and they never do?
You are voting for your future and your next generation future, not voting for people who have managed your Clementi town well.

Edd1 is 14 years old this year, what expectations must we have of him?
Schools are producing people like him, PAP must be very proud. I totally take my hats off to producing droids like him.
There's no future for Sinkapore if kids get their mind poisoned like that, they are smart at their studies but hopeless in moral values and critical reasoning. Pointless.
He can rattle off all the election boundaries and stuff like that. Election to him is just like Singapore Idols, in his brains, government is seperate from PAP, then election must just be like Singapore Idol lah, which PAP dog is more popular and that's all. They don't formulate policies, they just sit around and receive million dollars salaries and give him busaries awards for being good at studying but not critical thinking.

well it depends on which area you are talkin about.
but from my point of view as a youngster i wouldn't mind trying the OPP for once. if no good then change back to PAP lor. jus like how the japan election went.

Is this a trick question? The answer is NO, This is a question that you should ask yourself over and over again? Do u wish to vote for the sake of voting? Or do u wish to vote because you care for your country? Please make the right decisions cos this will affect you, your family , your neighbours, your children and especially your future generations.

I saw him last month..yeah.13 Jan 2011. the congestion at Clementi if the reform party comes and i still remember newspaper article about WC GRC it's about foreign workers he said his party will only campaign on National issues not local ones..What kind of rubbish is he talking about if he wants to serve us then this also must do it not only national issues locals issue also must help us.....and i'm not talking about who managed Clementi town well k..just that what opposition party have promised they must do and who knows who will be my next mp for the next 10 to 20 years??

You mean foreign workers is not a national issue but rather a local issue?Has PAP done what they promised?

Go both and listen out to their offers lor. See which 1 appeal and see who understand what we suffer and support lor.
Last voting, i was at Gentings. This time, can go see see watch watch what they offer.
If you are voting for opposition just because you dislike PAP..... I can only offer you this words:
"Thank you for voting brainlessly."
Same for those who vote for PAP just because they dislike the opposition.

Will you vote for Opposition if the guy was the guy who broke your leg, laugh at the broken legs and peed over it just being they are opposition?
Same applies for PAP supporters.
