Speaker's Corner (Hong Lim Park) |
Kenneth Jeyaretnam, on behalf of THE REFORM PARTY, warmly welcomes every Singaporean who cares about the future of our Nation to join him and his team on 15 Jan 2011 for a picnic in the park at this, our inaugural rally event.
On stage, a mix of very special guest speakers and speakers from the party will talk about the key issues facing Singaporeans and outline the Party's concrete, alternative and viable proposals.
Refreshments will be provided and there will be a display of memorabilia and publications, so you can find out exactly who we are, what we stand for and why we do what we do.
This is the final stretch before G.E., come along and find out more about Team RP, get up close and personal with our candidates, our legal clinic team, our women's wing, our members and our CEC and see for yourself why our plans will 'Make it Right' for Singapore and Singaporeans.
The RP Rally & Picnic will be a fun day for both young and old alike with a magician on hand mingling with the crowd, and a DJ, sound system and plenty of good cheer.
Wear something yellow if you can or bring a yellow mat to sit on. Help us bring change to Singapore by spreading the word and telling everyone you know about this special day.
So, make a date with Democracy. Make it there on 15 January 2011 and start the new year with REFORM!
That's tomorrow afternoon.
Anyone went?
It rained on that day, I didn't go, I was thinking that most probably wouldn't have shelter because the SDP rally that I went, didn't have shelter.
It is sad, today Sunday was full of sunshine, why not reverse it and rain today?
Mother nature is with PAP, after all.
Disappointed.
Of all choose convert PRC citizen to speak.
Even heaven cried.
Really? Who's that? Read from TOC the overall oomph factor not really there. Still raw in terms of stage presence.

It has to be done, reckless immigration policy has to be addressed, but not directly by locals will be better, opposition will not have enough to form majority government, thus most probably the mindless immigration policy will continue even after election, and if the opposition push this issue too far, even level-headed new citizens will be turned off by them, cutting off new opposition supporters, so this issue will be best taken up by a new citizen.
Opposition parties can approach this problem but they have to juggle the risks of this being taken advantage of by PAP, right now, PAP have been embracing foreigners like long lost sugar dadies, so most, I would say, opinions of new citizens will still be favourable to PAP.
Opposition parties will have to take into account of this so it will have to be up to us to hammer this issue into the minds of the people we know around us. There's still lots of foreigners around, so that will be a constant reminder to every Sinkaporean to vote properly or risk being slaves to foreigners, just like what happen to Balhae

Mother nature is unpredictable. Who knows when it's PAP turn, there might be a flood?
