I have but 1 short relationship.. not much to share..not much of an experience for you guys and gals..unless you still interested

Strange is Human relations - between friends and the sort.. seems length of knowing don't matter.. its the feeling.. like you won't discuss personal things with even a long-term friend and rather someone thats been your friend for less than 1 or 2 years..

Length of a friendship only counts if between friends there is a shared connection, a kin-ship, like Wu Xia movies... sworn brothers...

When time to let go, jsut let go and things will be sweeter...
Friendship and r/s is jsut like the strings of a guitar, too tight they will snap, too lose u can't get the correct tune. Must be jsut nice
Also like the sand in ur hand, the harder u try to hold, the more they fall... -
when we went thru' a failed relationship, we tell ourselves that I'm not gonna make the same "mistake" in the next 1. but when the next 1 comes along, we spent so much time trying to "correct that mistake" and neglect other matters which are also as important in a relatship.
a "formula" does not work on ALL relationships. we are individuals ... own set of thinking/beliefs ... own way of handling things ...

if 1 retreat... u are letting your buddy down who trusted u with his/her life.
win the battle together or lose our live together.

does that goes to say that if one dies, the other will follow as well? maybe in the past... but in this modern society, i don't think so. the important point is there got to be HAPPINESS and LOVE in a relationship and these are the factors that makes a relationship last. if you truly love that special one that make your life so wonderful, you would want all the HAPPINESS and LOVE showering on her/him isn't it? that's wat i think.Originally posted by mahjong:relationship is like war.

but fight together, becoz the war still carried on even after 1 death.
fight the rumours.
fight misunderstanding
improve communication
improve understaning

but it is sad some ppl experience serious heartbreak and from then on they wont dare to try and keep themself from it...which is sad...

Well i agree with IceIce....acutally this is very human...once bitten, twice shy. Afraid to be hurt again. But hey, if the person refse to take the plunge, how will they know if they are going to be hurt or not. There is a risk in everything we do, just whether the risk is worth it or not

A man asked his wife what she'd like for her 40th birthday.
"I'd love to be six again," she replied.
On the morning of her birthday, he got her up bright and early and off
they went to a local theme park. What a day! He put her on every ride in
the park: the Death Slide, the Screaming Loop, the Wall of Fear,
everything there was! Wow!
Five hours later she staggered out of the theme park, her head reeling
and her stomach upside down.
Right to a McDonald's they went, where her husband ordered her a Happy
Meal along with extra fries and a refreshing chocolate shake.
Then, it was off to a movie - the latest Disney and what a fabulous
adventure!
Finally, she wobbled home with her husband and collapsed into bed. He
leaned over and lovingly asked, "Well, dear, what was it like being six
again?"
One eye opened. "You idiot, I meant my dress size."
The moral of this story is: When a woman speaks and a man i! s actually
listening, he will still get it wrong. So he shouldn't bother
listenening in the first place. -

den when the woman speaks, the man heard wat she said but never listen
den hor the man ask her the same question again... den the woman angwee dun wan to say liao den kanna from the man again :"If u dun tell me how i noe wat u wan?"
so lidat is to say leh or dun say leh?
dilemma.... haiz....

Rubbish if he listen with his heart he will get it...if he dont get it that means they dont understand each other at all thats why will misunderstand..
when a couple are together for a long time...sometimes certain things dont have to say it out also will understand what he/she is thinking.
if they dont that means something is really wrong in a relationship. -
[color=blue]correct when a couple being together for a long time, they sometimes know what each other wants...but like for me, I and my guy thinks what each other wants and hence it becomes taking it for granted. For instance, I love to drink ice-lemon tea. My guy will take it for granted that everytime i order a drink, it will be ice-lemon tea. Hence you got to let the person know what you want or else we just take things for granted. Humans i guess

When a relationship ends, don't ask why it ended, what you should have done and how you should have done it, just ask when you are going to pick yourself up and move on, then where shall you seek your new love.

When in a relationship, always be truth to yourself and your partner... or else it will be just a show which will ended when the excitement ends.

Have u ever felt dat your partner does not care about you ?

or he/she even threaten to care less about you coz you tend to think too much or talk too much?

yar good idea to talk it out, but after the talking if still no improve then it is time to think whether it is true love. coz true love wont have this kind of things, even if very far away from each other.
