It seems to me that we need to be spoon-fed, protected from ourselves and finally fined/warned to do things that are obvious commonsense. For exampleÂ…
- Stand behind yellow line at MRT stations to prevent falling onto tracks. Not enough. Need to add doors to above ground MRT stations to prevent us from throwing ourselves onto the tracks.
- Move to the rear on public buses. It is commonsense to move to the rear. But we still need reminders.
- Keep right unless overtaking. Well, this is a rule normally known only to road-users. Now it is promoted on MRT escalators, staircases, pedestrian crossings. Are we human or cows, do we need to be herded in order to move in an orderly fashion?
Do you have other rules or regulations that you think is unnecessary if people have more commonsense?

I thought its keep left unless overtaking.. same with the mrt escalators...
well...thats wats so special of sporeans.. we know we should be polite.. we are taught in school.. still we got campaigns for it.. we know its right to keep the environment clean.. but we also have fines to force us to do so...Spore has the most campaigns, fines to regulate the people.. basically... we are robots...
