I tell you, it was almost fixed. The script says that the first 20 seeded teams were supposed to be playing in the 3rd Qualifying round. The other 23 teams below are just making up the numbers. But there was an anomaly below

The top 2 teams from each group qualify to the 4th round into 2 groups of 5. Then on the 4th round, the top 2 teams from each group will go to the World Cup.
What about the remaining 'half' team?
The 3rd placed team in each group of Round 4 will play in a home-and-away tie against each other. Winner faces the Oceania Champion (almost likely to be New Zealand) in another home-and-away tie. Then should they overcome New Zealand then, it's a passport to the World Cup.
From the looks of it, Singapore might have the slim chance. We will sure lose the teams in Pot A, unless they send their reserve teams over. In Pot B, we might fancy playing against Korea DPR or Kuwait. We did beat Iraq in the Asian Cup Qualifiers, whose team is in Pot C. -
Singapore should aim for 10pts in the group stage. If you have 10pts, you are more or less through to the next round, just like the champ league.
