But what Seriously AMAZE Me really is that I heard Loud and Clear applauding and cheering from opposite my house (high floor) coffee shop from 4th Goal Onwards
the netural fans are certainly enjoying watching our football last night
i enjoyed it too
anyway seems like Chelsea players have master the art of outside foot passing and outside foot shooting -
i saw it was 2-0 just now.
i thought the score would stop there.

Boss reflects on an 'awful' afternoon 27/10/2007 19:15
Sven-Goran Eriksson has reflected on the 6-0 beating at Chelsea and apologised straight away for the performance of his team.
Afterwards he told us: “I’m sorry. I’m sorry for our performance, I’m sorry for the fans who travelled down and hoped to see play good football.
“I think we started ok, but if you are not prepared to defend much, much better than we did today, things like that happen.”
Despite a bright start where City had matched Chelsea, EssienÂ’s goal after 16 minutes gave the home side the impetus, but it could have been so different had Martin PetrovÂ’s fine free-kick gone into the top corner it was flying towards before CechÂ’s intervention.
Instead the London side doubled their lead on 31 minutes thanks to Didier Drogba and that left SvenÂ’s men with an uphill task heading towards the break.
He said: “Of course it’s very bad being 2-0 down at half time and trying to get it right. Then after three and four, the heads were very much down and we came off even worse, that’s not good. I hope that we have learnt something.
“You can’t give them the possibility to have so much space and time. Five of the six goals they were alone with Joe Hart and if you allow that in 90 minutes it’s very bad.
“We were taught a lesson today. It’s good to play good football and to attack, but when you lose the ball you have to do much better than we did today. Nothing has changed, it is just a very good reminder that this is not good enough and that is it.”
Eriksson was evidently uncharacteristically exasperated at his sideÂ’s performance and is keen that they put it behind them sooner, rather than later.
He added: “Tomorrow [Sunday] morning we’ll be talking and working. We’re lucky to have a game on Wednesday, a difficult game away in The Carling Cup at Bolton. It’s better to wait two or three days than a whole week for a game.” -
Lampard: 'We Are On Fire'
After playing a masterful role in the 6-0 hammering of Manchester City, Frank Lampard warned ChelseaÂ’s rivals that they are back on song.
“We were firing right now”
“It almost as if he we had to show ourselves what we can do,
“We showed at Stamford Bridge what we can do when hit top form”
The midfielder had been under pressure himself after some corners questioned his recent form.
Indeed the stand-in skipper for Chelsea had received a smattering of boos from England fans in recent internationals, however, after assisting two goals this afternoon Lampard was highly pleased with his individual performance,
“[My performance] certainly ranks very highly in my career, it missed a goal but I felt at the top of my game,
“But with good players around you making good runs, who know you have to find them”
In one instant in which he certainly found his team-mate came as he assisted Didier DrogbaÂ’s first goal with a fabulous 60-yard pass that cut through the City defence.
Commentating on the pass Lampard could not hide his delight,
“It was a good pass, “On another day it might have been cut out by the defence”.
Lampard also gave me an honest assessment of the Chelsea squad, refuting claims the win was down to the team being rebuilt but rather that important injured players are now back,
“We’ve got good players, a good squad,
“It was difficult with so many first-team players injured but the players that came in like [Paolo] Ferriera, have covered brilliantly”
well for once i think Ferriera did well against City he is much more confident about himself now -

lampard played well. especially his contribution to the 2nd goal, what a sweet flick pass
