Actually, to me Lampard's most impt goal was the one 4 years ago against Portugal in the last Euro Cup. If anything, Lampard is a victim of his own success. Expectations get higher and the public comes down even harder because of the reputation the player now has. -

for once, I felt Lampard should have played instead of Gerrard.
I like Gerrard when he is on top form, but sadly, he seems jaded these couple of games, and Lampard's hunger to perform and justify himself would have been more productive.
Saw the opportunity that Gerrard missed, honestly, put rooney, owen, lampard there, it may or may not be a goal. No one can predict lah.
On current form, Gerrard is on the low, but then Lampard just recovered, so can't really compared. It is like Gerrard got a 40/100, but then Lampard is 0/100 so as coach who you pick?? And effectively, who else is there??
