i think he may replace another embattled coach, frank rijkaard of barce. frank's undergoing some turmoil on his own and barce is one of the few clubs who can afford jose and has the squad that jose finds interesting to manage. another possibility is portugal. scoleri is also thredding on thin ice. for country, jose may take in less pay since ex-employer chelski would have paid him a bundle to leave anyway......
but epl will not be the same again....it will be back it is dour old self, yawn yawn. -

The examples I quoted are Feggie lavish spending in the last few years, not over a long stretch of period. Indeed, Feggie delivered the trophy, but so did Mourinho albeit through massive spending. But numerous big stars wont make a winning team. I'm not a Chelsea fan and neither am I Man U fan. But life in EPL without Mourinho will seem duller than before. -
i read abt the level of analysis, use of technology and how the melwood training ground is rework to custom-made to his approach, i believe RB is clearly one of the modern managers of his time. whether he is in the level of wenger is debatable, and few rival him in how he prepares a match.Originally posted by dragg:RB is not up there yet.

mourihno won the league title with 2 different teams. he also won the CL with porto. can he win the league title with another club?
SAF won 10 league titles with man u but the CL only once. can he win it with another club?
RB won the CL with liverpool. he won the la liga with valencia. can RB win the premiership with liverpool?
wenger won the league title with arsenal. but not the CL.
i guess only capello can say for sure he is the best. he won the domestic title with different teams. and even with Real in spain.
i believe fans of each club will choose to think their manager is the best. as far as the premiership is concerned taking into consideration the backing provided against results and playing style my best manager is arsene wenger. -

i'm not surprised if mourinho engineered this sacking....he's walking away 5 mil pounds in total, that's 15 mil sg.....enough to feed 3 generations.....
chelsea is gone this season, whoever comes in will probably not get the same support from the players except for sheva...lol.....roman has commitment issues since he was prepared to pay off the mother of his 5 kids 1 billion bucks just to be with a hottie..... -

Btw, didn't Alex Ferguson shell out $28 million for Juan Veron $30+ million for Rio Ferdinand? Didn't Alex Ferguson spend around the same amt for Wayne Rooney too(inclusive of future payments 2 Everton)? And then what about this season? Anderson, Nani, Tevez in total cost how much? Not to mention that players like Yorke, Keane, Jaap Stam were signed to the club at transfers fees that were considered to be a large sum during their time. Man Utd did it in the past, when they were probably the wealthiest club during the 90s, so why are u so upset with Chelsea shelling up big money for players?
Thing is, Jose Mourinho deserve respect too. He didn't win the CL with Chelsea, granted, but he had won it with Porto before. I am not going to argue with u the money he spend buying the players because its true, but it seems as if u are doubting his capabilities as a manager. It is 1 thing to sign big name players for big bucks, it is another trying to get all these big name players 2 play as a team and win trophies. That was what Real Madrid failed to do when they had the Galaticos.
IMO, leaving Chelsea(or sacked) is the best thing for the club and Jose. Whoever is the next manager, the most impt thing probably would be that he is a puppet of Roman. -
And also to add on, the unbeaten home record. Both from his time at Porto and Chelsea.
