Contrary to many beliefs, the young gunners will likely step up to the challenge even greater now after the departure of Henry.
Many said that Arsenal will go flat w/o Patrick Viera in the middle of the park when he joined Inter but Fabregas stepped up and look how much his price tage has risen. Fabregas could walk into any top teams.
Now that Henry has left... it is up to van Persie or Adebayor to step up to lead the attack.
Essentially, the current Arsenal squad is still very young but the talents are there.. the youthful exuberence are there and they will still pose threats against the big teams. What they seemed lacking is tactical discipline. -

Well,we still have Theo. Isnt he as quick as Henry? If AW can train him like wad he did to thierry,theo can be as good as him. AW also said last season theo suffered shoulder injury and he only gave 50% of his best. we havent seen yet the other 50%! Henry's exit may make other players in arsenal shine

But thierry once said he wants to retire as an arsenal player..but sigh..things change.his exit really pinned all of arsenal fans feelings.

i think henry overstep his authority in arsenal management board.
imagine, can arsenal board of directors let a players dictate who should control and run the club. that prob, the board let him go. however i think arsenal let him go too cheaply at 16milion pound. i think he worth at least 25million pound.
sheva worth 30million pound at 29.
zidane worth 30million poound + at 29.
ribery worth 17million pound at 25+ not even proven at top class league.
i feel maybe its time for wenger to move on as well. i hope the season after next, arsenal can get hiddink, capello or scolari to manage arsenal.

off field issues do matter.....arse is dead and buried i would think....the crop they are left may be fanciful but very inexperienced....you also need a manager who can man-managed apart from picking the right tactics...

Since the Dennis Bergkamp, Marc Overmars and Tony Adams era, it was Arsene Wenger that molded the crust of the team and fashioned his way of tactics and football.
Without Henry during those years, Arsenal were already winning cups and my believe is that Arsenal will continue to have the same ability challenge for the title with or without Henry.
All these is provided, as long as Arsene Wenger does not leave, that is.. -

I'm not an Arsenal fan, but I'm quite disappointed to hear of his departure from the EPL, which is still my favourite football league in the world.
I believe that he, more so than any other player, has brought class and talent to the English game and attracted thousands if not millions more viewers.
Muhammed Ali described himself as "float like a butterfly, sting like a bee", but I think this is more apt to describe Henry's silky skills, lightning pace and immaculate finishing, which has made him one of the best players in the world in the last decade.
May he flourish in Spanish football, if the deal is done. He will be a great loss to the English game and ....esp to Arsenal.

Problem is Henry himself said, that Wenger could not promise to commit to Arsenal. And he couldn't wait any longer, time waits for no man.
Wenger seems rather pissed with the departure of David Dein as well as the lack of funds.
Last time he could rely on talent, but now with every other club spending, you just have to spend too. -

Henry is the main reason why i dont hate Arsenal. His counter attacking play is second to none. one better off rooney or c.ronaldo i suppose.. i love to watch him play but too bad he's leaving for La Liga.. EPL defenders can save some sweat man.. Maybe Trezeguet is replacing him soon.. hope so..
