I felt quite sad not to see more SEA ballers in the NBA..Hope i live long enough to see one..Originally posted by The man who was death:from what i heard, a taiwanese player came very close to playing in the nba but a injury prevented him from doing so....
well, I do hear that there are many talented players in US who are not in NBA.Originally posted by stellazio:have to start training them from young.
heck over there, the standard in the streetside bball is so good already.
Expected to be good...I doubt he is good...Timmy is better..Originally posted by iceFatboy:well, I do hear that there are many talented players in US who are not in NBA.
Cause NBA needs to be drafted from colleges, these talented players are not.
Sometimes, I do catch TV programmes that shows coaches going out into streets and then trying to recruit these players into CBA and later NBA..
I rem reading that even Yao Ming was "manufactured". With his parents of a certain height, he was expected to be good for bball.

Street ball requires , individual skill whereby team basketball requires team work....After playing most of their life streetball style it would be irrevocable to learn another concept of team work.Originally posted by chaoyang:Tim Duncan started balling only in high school.
