One is there due to performances, one is there due to his fame...
How??
maybe not in the league of gerrard. but lampard? HAHA!Originally posted by ghimpheng:haha your carrick not in the league of gerrard or Lampard la
Lampard score 20+ goals and 10+ assists per seasonOriginally posted by trendz:maybe not in the league of gerrard. but lampard? HAHA!
fat frank is seriously overrated. he is only slightly better than jermaine jenas; at least his england performances proved so.![]()
World class midfielder? No one thinks of Lampard. Probably Beckham or Gerrard. HAHA.Originally posted by ghimpheng:Lampard score 20+ goals and 10+ assists per season
Jenas And Carrick is nowhere near Lampard
Gerrard this season performance is not on par with Lampard
Few season ago yes but not this season

Personal opinion? Or just trying to get back at Ghimpheng?Originally posted by Rock^Star:World class midfielder? No one thinks of Lampard. Probably Beckham or Gerrard. HAHA.
World class defender? Terry maybe.
Seriously, I don't find Frank Lampard fat. He is way better than Jenas as a player, but I think due to tactics and maybe player combi, he can't produce his best for England.Originally posted by trendz:maybe not in the league of gerrard. but lampard? HAHA!

Nope, I touch my heart and say I'm not taking a dig at anyone.Originally posted by SumOne:Personal opinion? Or just trying to get back at Ghimpheng?
In any case, Lampard is a good player and has contributed greatly to the Chelsea cause. I feel his inability to perform on international stage is more due to tactics than the player.
If you want compare at it this way, then it would be a bit different. Lampard is good at club level. Rooney himself has been criticised for not producing the same form for England as he does for Man U.Originally posted by Rock^Star:Nope, I touch my heart and say I'm not taking a dig at anyone.
Lampard is hardly world class when it comes to international recognition.
Names like Ronaldinho, Gerrard, Beckham, Ribery etc will come to mind.
Thanks and notedOriginally posted by SumOne:If you want compare at it this way, then it would be a bit different. Lampard is good at club level. Rooney himself has been criticised for not producing the same form for England as he does for Man U.
Also, Lampard has come to England's rescue before. In Euro2004, the match against Portugal. I think it was in extra time, England fell behind in extra time and Lampard scored to level, bringing the game to penalties so that England at least still had a chance. England may still have lost but Lampard's goal at least gave hope.
Thanks for noting, but just for fun to throw in another player. Another example of a player who does well at club but not so well for his national side. Totti, great at Roma but not so great with Italy.Originally posted by Rock^Star:Thanks and noted.
However, I'm referring specifically to int'l recognition......
I doubt so.This guy is still damn loyal to Man Utd in his heart..i was thinking maybe sunderlandOriginally posted by glacer:i think he would only choose the EPL BIG 4. He won't even consider Newcastle and Blackburn
What about Birmingham? Their manager also ex-Manchester United.Originally posted by lpx88:I doubt so.This guy is still damn loyal to Man Utd in his heart..i was thinking maybe sunderland![]()

Compare SUnderland and Birmingham i will still take Sunderland.Keano has that fierce hunger to rope in as many players with Man Utd affiliations as possible to Sunderland.Originally posted by iveco:What about Birmingham? Their manager also ex-Manchester United.
