They cant even do their part.
As for chel$ea, woo......5th consecutive draw.![]()
The only thing sheff utd didnt do justice for is to themselves.Originally posted by ghimpheng:if man utd draw and sheff utd lose sheff will be thru

You gotta remember MUFC and SUFC are miles apart. Newly-promoted clubs are going to struggle in the big-money league because they have skimpier budgets. The gulf between the established EPL sides and the recently-promoted ones will continue to widen.Originally posted by lpx88:What u mean by justice?
Ultimately Sheffield have only themselves to blame for for not collecting enough points earlier in the season. It's their own relegation battle. Tehy didn perform well wad ahs it gotta do with other clubs helping them? Begging other teams to put up a strong team to send opposing teams down is just ridiculous. They have no right to dictate what is the 1st 11 a club will play in any match at all.![]()
Really can't understand the logic behind the 'justice would have been done' comment, but I guess you feel very strongly about who should have gone done and who shouldn't.Originally posted by ghimpheng:if man utd draw and sheff utd lose sheff will be thru

Did you mean SUFC needed WHFC to lose big @ Old Trafford?Originally posted by SumOne:Really can't understand the logic behind the 'justice would have been done' comment, but I guess you feel very strongly about who should have gone done and who shouldn't.
Anyway, I wanted to correct you regarding the Man U draw and Sheff losing with Sheffield still going thru.
The table before last match.
Had posted in my thread on the relegation battle.
A West Ham Draw and Sheffield loss would mean Sheffield lose out to West Ham as West Ham would have 39pts and Sheffield 38.
Wigan would be level with Sheffield on 38 points, but Sheffield would lose out to Wigan on goal difference which is exactly what happened.
Having not gotten the minimium draw at their own home, Sheffield needed West Ham to beat and not even just draw with Man U, in order to beat West Ham on goal difference.
Nope, just lose because they already had an inferior goal difference to Sheffield. West Ham's 25 and Sheffield's 22 both have a '-' sign infront of it. Which means before the last match, Sheffield had a better goal difference (Did you miss that?). Otherwise, at the time of the table I used, West Ham would have been above Sheffield, wouldn't they?Originally posted by iveco:Did you mean SUFC needed WHFC to lose big @ Old Trafford?
Originally posted by iveco:Note the word "virtually". As alluded earlier, the 10-point penalty was enforced after Leeds decided to call in administrators after the penultimate game (but before their final game) of the season where they still had a theoretical chance of survival.
With relegation virtually assured, Leeds entered a Company Voluntary Arrangement (administration) on 4th May 2007, thus incurring a league imposed 10 point deduction which officially relegated the club to the third tier of English football. [19][20]. - Wikipedia
I guess that according to Fergie, the fate of the clubs fighting relegation is more important than the FA Cup final and his job.Originally posted by iveco:You gotta remember MUFC and SUFC are miles apart. i remember they were at one stage 10 points clear of the relegation zone.Originally posted by lpx88:What u mean by justice?
