MUFC is just one major club in football.
And yes, we do acknowledged Liverpool previous success in the 80s, and MUFC were not so good then.
But as with soccer, things change and MUFC were successful in the 90s.
the key now is that we need to be respectful of other clubs too, but not all fans think alike. -

On a personal note, I hope Man U repeats the treble. No team in the world has ever done a quadruple before. Many have chased it down the years but never in the history of football has it ever been done.

Going back to the opening post, I feel Man U's 'supremacy' in English soccer had already previously been ended by Arsenal. It's just that Chelsea's now among the few to share the spotlight. Liverpool hasa done well too....
I'm not saying where you're wrong regarding your opinions on the matches to come. But two of these are cup finals, who knows what may happen. I'm basically just commenting on the use of the word 'supremacy' to describe Man U when they haven't been the dominant force in English soccer for a while now. -
It's definitely more than that, but I'd say the odds are stacked against them at the moment. Chelsea is behind in the league and still have to rely on someone else dropping points no matter how well they play. They're meeting Liverpool in the semis who have a better European record.
