Letter Of The Week: Time for United to start dropping points
Edwin Van der Sar, Patrice Evra, Louis Saha, Darren Fletcher, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic are injuried. Henrik Larsson is going back to Helsingborg and Paul Scholes is suspended for three games.
I expect a lot of defensive and offensive problems for Manchester United as Wayne Rooney is the only fit striker left.
Alan Smith has just returned from long-term injury, so I don't expect him to be as sharp as before.
The FA Cup match against Middlesborough on Saturday again showed the Red Devils's weakness in defence, and Premiership teams will surely fancy their chances to grab at least a point United, just like they did when Chelsea's John Terry was injuried.
With a congested list of fixtures till the end of the season I expect their injury list to lengthen as they have such a heavy schedule in such a short period of time.
Despite their excellent form earlier in the season, I expect Man U will start to drop points because of these major factors.
Chelsea have no major injuries with Terry back. Only Joe Coe is currently injuried.
Also, Chelsea's form has been good since Petr Cech's return. I reckon that Chelsea will continue to shine.

they still need to play chelsea...yea..they dun need play other of the stronger team..but they need to face the hungrier team...teams like bolton blackburn tend to be more attacking..they haf nth to lose...i guess they will attack all the way...regelation team..they need to win in order to stay in the EPL..when the season is ending..is better to face the team which r fighting for champion rather den teams tt r fighting for survivor or euro cup...Originally posted by R3SsH|n:but united's premiership fixture is relatively easy considering they dun need to play the big 4 already.. -

after reading the article and compare with the way you've posted before i bet they had to edit lots of stuff from the page before its "publishable", else hardly anyone would have understood, but nevertheless its still a great effort!!

Terry: Chelsea players convinced Man Utd can be caught

Chelsea captain John Terry says there's a genuine belief they can haul in Premiership leaders Manchester United after victory last night at Manchester City.
Terry bounced back from injury to help Chelsea close the gap on leaders Manchester United to six points.
It was the champions' sixth win on the trot, with skipper Terry warning the quadruple is still in Blues' sights.
He said: "The belief is there. Can we win more trophies? We'll take each game as it comes in the Premiership, the FA Cup and the Champions League."
Terry, playing his first game since picking up a horrific head injury in Chelsea's Carling Cup final victory, saw Frank Lampard fire the winner from the penalty spot.
He said: "We knew this was a chance to get the gap down to six points and we've done that.
"It's great to be back involved because the lads have been playing well recently. They had a run of five wins which is now six and I'm happy to be back involved.
"Now we will go into each game believing we can win it."
