Mine's got to be the 1986 quarter-finals WC between Brazil and France. The teams drew and Brazil lost out sadly in penalties. Had Zico not missed his penalty during normal play, Brazil would have been through to meet West Germany.

My favourite is the FA cup finals of West Ham v.s. Liverpool when Gerard equalised with a stunning volleyball from far in injury time and won the FA cup in the penalty shoot-out eventually.
A recent one is the second leg of CL 06-07, Chelsea v.s. Barca, when Drogba scored a 94minute equaliser with the assist of last-minute striker John Terry to win Barca 4-3 on aggregate during the group stages. I'm a Chelsea fan btw.

Liverpool v Leeds at Anfield (i think its either the 2000 or 2001 season, 1-2 victory to leeds; These 2 teams were neck in neck for the 3rd and final CL place in the league; After the game, leeds opened up a 6pt gap between themselves and pool, who have 2 games in hand; The season ended unfortunately with leeds finishing in 4th and out of the UCL, which ultimately cost them dearly in financial terms)
Arsenal v Leeds at Highbury (Again either 2000 or 2001 season, 1-2 victory to leeds; It was an early season game, prior to the match, the gunners were high-flying, but was brought down to earth with this defeat)
Real Madrid v Bayern munich (Couldn't remember which year, somewhere between 1998 to 2002; 2-4 home defeat by Real in a group game; Real eventually also lost the away game to Bayern in the other grp game but still finished 2nd in the grp and made it to the next rd; They met again in the knockout phase, this time round Real triumphed 3-2 on aggregate, with a 2-0 home win and 1-2 away defeat; This remains in my memory well because Real lost 3 out of 4 encounters with bayern in the same season and still progressed further than them And they eventually won the champions league, i think their final opponent were Valencia) -

i feel damn shiok when i saw indra score against man utd....the whole of kallang ROARED to life when indra scored!!!!!....dat goal left japp stam (is it him?) so disbelieved~~~
dey tot singapore lan lan one...lol...we got our super striker ok!!...dun play play~~....thought we lost 8-1 in the end but remarkably, dat goal was an effort to equalise with dem when we were one nil down =P. and if i didnt rmb wrongly, dat one was the only goal dat were against man utd when dey toured asia..... -
Singapore match against Malaysia... my only trip to kallang and the atmosphere during and after the penalty kick was the best!!!

So far i observed liverpool vs ac milan got lots of votes, due to pure inspiration and excitement..
People who went to see singapore played at national stadium was stunned by the atmosphere.
basketball and football has always go side by side with me when i was young.
i still rem M Jordan putting in the crucial 3 pointer in the very last sec.

Chances and saves galore, 2 good goals by becks and berkamp, keane sent off, a 90th minute penalty save and that super solo goal by Ryan Giggs. Fantastic!
Champions League Quarter Final 2003 Man Utd vs Real Madrid
7 goals in that match. Chances galore. Ronaldo scored a hattrick and becks scored a great freekick in that match.

FA Cup 1999 Man Utd vs Liverpool
Pool scored early in the first half. ManUtd attacked and attacked and scored 2 goals in the 89th and 90th minute to win. I still can remember the looks on the pool fans that day.
EPL 2002 Spurs vs Man Utd
Spurs lead 3-0 at half time. Manutd stormed back in the 2nd half to win 5-3. Goals from Andy cole, blanc, RVN, becks and Veron secured probably the greatest comeback in EPL history
World Cup 2006 Germany vs Italy
Good attacking play from both sides. Pirlo and Gattuso were outstanding in that match. One of the best matches in that tournament. -

This is the only game in my memory that carries a wide scoreline, but the game itself is a close affair.. Brings back good memories of attacking flair from Barca.. Still rem a few details from the game..
Chelsea was leading 3-1 from the first leg at stamford bridge, with Luis Figo scoring the elusive away goal for Barca. If i rem correctly, Chelsea also had a player sent off in this game. A game with all the ingredients of a good european game. -
