Highly-rated Preston striker David Nugent has admitted that he would welcome a 'dream' move to Everton.
The England Under-21 international still hopes to play in the Premiership with Preston, who are one of a handful of clubs still challenging for honours in the Championship.
But if Paul Simpson's side are unable to earn a place in the top flight this year, Nugent is ready to trade Deepdale for Goodison Park.
Nugent told the News of the World: 'Hopefully I'll be in the Premiership with Preston this summer.
'If not, someone else as every young player wants to be there. Everton, for me, would be the dream.
'I've always wanted to play for them. It'd be unbelievable and, hopefully, it'll happen one day. That's where I want to be.'

reports has said david moyes is getting inpatient with beattie and so does beattie himself for not getting regular starting place... -
Beattie was hot in southampton for 1 season, after that everything went downhill for him.

I signed him in my FIFA Manager Game.
I think Moyes is guilty of over-buying and not fully-utilising them. McFadden was hot last season but Moyes left him out for this season. Marcus Bent played a crucial role the season before last but he fizzled out and was sold to Charlton. Van der Meyde was a highly-rated winger at Ajax and Inter Milan but he too, was drop to the reserve. Simon Davies and Kevin Kilbane got shupped out despite playing well during their time with the Toffee.
Nugent is an excellent signing. He's young, quick, strong and is quite experienced for someone his age.
Let's hope Moyes uses him well.
