Henrik Larsson says he is flattered by talk which suggests Manchester United want to extend his loan stay at Old Trafford, but claims he is still set on returning to Helsingborgs.
Larsson has won many fans on and off the field in his short time at Old Trafford, having joined the club on a three-month loan in late December.
There has been talk he could remain at Old Trafford until the end of the season, but this has been played down by Helsingborgs and Larsson is planning to return to his native land for the start of the Swedish season in early April.
"I am flattered and everything, but there is nothing," Larsson told Sky Sports News.
"I don't think there is anything to speculate about.
"I love playing for Manchester United and I have never made a secret of that, I have enjoyed my time with the club and the players, but we signed a deal for ten weeks and that is where we are at the moment.
"I have a contract running parallel to this one at Helsingborgs and that is the one I have to honour.
"I love it here and playing for United, but I have a contract back home and the Swedish season starts at the start of April and that is when I have to be home."
