Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is reportedly angry with the revelations from Wayne Rooney's fiancee in the press this week.
The Daily Mail says on Monday United's players endeavoured to hide their amusement at front page newspaper articles in which Rooney's fiancee spoke of her beau's teenage liaisons with Liverpool prostitutes.
By all accounts United manager Ferguson was not best pleased, and who can blame him? The timing of Coleen McLoughlin's book serialisation was poorly timed on Monday, to say the least.
Ferguson dealt with the Rooney issue the way that he knows best when he spoke to reporters at Lille airport yesterday.
"I haven't seen it," he growled. "I don't what you are talking about." And with that he moved on.
well done, SAF.
I am unsure how else he should deal with it.
An immature boy with tons of money, did something nasty off the field, now a changed man.
so we should tie a noose around him for rest of life??
Sad thing is, Rooney will be just as remembered for the things he did on the field, as well as the STUPID things he did off it. And if he "breaks down" (i.e retire, or quit the game due to injury or other reasons) b4 30, then people will say he is the 2nd George Best. A talent unfulfiled.
