So, finally the dust had settled, and every Singaporean knows that the Asean cup is ours, for another two years. Our form was pretty good, with no lost under our belt, throughout the tourney. We were shaky at times, but it was understandable, with the amount of pressure on the players to win the cup. The final match really showed the spirit of the lions. They battled hard on the pitch. That is what the fans wanted to see. Even if Singapore lost a match, with that kind of attitude, the fans would not be in a criticizing mood of the lions. At last, we can say Singapore football is going somewhere, after a long wait since the Malaysian cup days.

they don't look as majestic as before, and resort to physical play.
I was amazed how did that "head-butt" on our goal scorer could have gone unpunished.
