Manchester United wing ace Cristiano Ronaldo has been caught speeding.
The Portuguese international was photographed by a speed camera on the A5103 Princess Parkway in Manchester last year.
The midfielder is accused of driving with excessive speed close to the junction with Mauldeth Road West at about 10.30pm on July 16. The Crown Prosecution Service said his case was listed to be heard at Manchester City Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, February 6.
A spokesman said: "Cristiano Ronaldo Aveiro has been charged with driving exceeding the speed limit.
"The next date of hearing is on February 6 at Manchester Magistrates' Court."
A spokeswoman for Greater Manchester Police said they were not aware of the case but would not routinely be informed of all speed camera cases -
