Terry not suitable to be England's captain

  gerrard will make a better captain as he can read the game better then terry, he is a match winner and a vital part of england team although terry is also a vitala part of the england squad. terry is only a good player but not a good captain. he can be the captain for chelsea but not england. he paincs when their opponent counter attacks and he will just shout at the other 3 english defenders but not gerrard, he encourages the team like how he encouraged liverpool when they were 2-0 down to westham at the carling cup final 2006 and in the nd, they equalised, this shows how much influence gerrard brings to the team. post your views here ^^

  i agree dat gerrard should be the captain, he's been wif liverpool thin and thru. and his central role can command the squad well.

  I think its right that Gerrard should be the captain.His position of MC can already dictate things. I think he's more influential as well.

  Terry's good at Chelsea becos whenever decision don't go their way, he'll lead the rest of Chelsea Players and confront the referee.

  In my Opinion, Gerrard would be a much better Captain becos he dictates the play and he pushes his team forward. Terry is more laid back and leads vocally by shouting at teammates.

  becks dropped i tink because McClaren is afraid he will become 2nd Eriksson, as Eriksson was afraid of the former skipper and 'dare' not drop Beckham. McClaren will find it difficult to drop Beckham if he recalls him and i think he also afraid that it would damage Aaron Lennon's morale as he is the current right winger for England. 2nd reason maybe McClaren is trying to form a England team with full of pace and Beckham is slow
