I'm in a different time zone, hence I couldn't see the match, so I dun know if the Lions played well to deserve the win. Anyway, Refrees screw up all the time. The unfortunate thing is that it always happens when it matters.
No matter what, we won the game, but te cup stil aint ours. I'm fairly certain that the Thais got one hell of a show for us in Bangkok. -
i think the lions played badly and dun deserve to in anyway. the thais were not any better with such sportsmanship, if they have any. i think the thai player number 21 shd be given a red card for pushing the referee though.he was also the one to called all thai players off the pitch.
from reverse angle only see the thai fellow pulling on sg player. so couldnt be sure if it is sg player falling backwards or the thai player pulling the sg player.
in anycase, it was a disgrace to the spirit of sportsman ship on the thai's part. imagine we go over BKK and happily walk off the pitch when the referee made a bad call. totally no respect for the host -

Football is just a game for friendship. Don't take it too seriously.
A few years ago, when playing soccer in primary school, always get into fights over scorelines. But now look back, it was very childish.
Football is for friendship and enjoyment of sports. -

The referee also cannot see what happened between thai and spore player, as he is standing in front of both players. Spore owe our victory to the foreign players Bennett and Dickson, and the guy who took the penalty kick. They really work very hard and play their heart out for Spore team. hello soccer fans here, from the match of view.
it stated clearly that the thais did not have enough 72 hours of sleep after the match against vietnam. i feel that they r very tired, they didnt perform well. im not saying i dont side singapore, i side them. but i feel its unfair to the thais thats all. anyway, great game to all but like some of you say, great acting the put up -
Whether win or lose never mind. Its is just a game. A game of friendship.

why the replay is so blur. not like the EPL 100% clear. tsk tsk tsk.
i think from the ref's view, he sees it as the thai player pulled the shirt of ahlam sah and both fell together.
it was a rough game in all.
the thai player didnt show any sportsmanship and called the team mates to leave the pitch. you see epl, sometimes the player fall even when the finger touch one strand of hair and a penalty is given but the players had no choice but to respect the ref's decision and go on with the game
even though sometimes the ref is really kelong. players with great sportsmanship will continue playing even though the decision was F uped.
they can complain about it later after the game.
what's worst, the thai players surronded the ref after the whistle was blown. what the hell? there's still a 2nd leg at thai home ground what is there to complain about unless the thais are not confident that they can make a come back.
all in all. i think the thais should not have walked off the pitch and the COACH and MANAGER should not have supported them. they should have told them to go back and play and maybe they can get a come back. -
