  I don't know if it's me alone, but I've observed something about Rooney that never seems to escape my attention(the older generation of United fans who have lived to see the sides that won the two doubles should know what I'm talking about) : the commitment and body language(even if it's just bawling at the ref) he shows bears an uncanny resemblance to a certain Roy Keane when he was in his early 20's...

  Prior to his suspension in Jan '95, Cantona never had much with referees - he merely had a knack of taking the law into his own hands when he feels the ref has overlooked an injustice he suffered at the hands of an opponent. He certainly wasn't the sort to argue with the ref over every decision...
  
  Rooney's more like Keane in the sense that he'd argue with the ref over incidents where he wasn't directly involved in. Rather, it's the body language and mannerisms that I find uncannily similar between the two...
