Our team were knocked out w/o even scoring a goal in the process...What's our view on tat..?I mean,isn't it a shame tat our talented team went out in tat way..?

Although we are the king of SEA but when come to international stage... We are kinda lacking... So time to send more players to overseas for training...

You mean we can beat Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam easily?
If you are refering to Tiger Cup etc, sorry those are Cup games.
Please don't waste our money by sending them overseas etc etc.
Just bring back the Malaysia Cup format! -

and small population isn't a good excuse to buy foreign players.
costa rica only has a population of 2.9million
and yet they made it into world cup not once by many times. -

Also, FAS have dropped Goal2010 3 years ago after launching it in 1999.
Please also look at the standard of Japan, Korea and Gulf national teams. Please don't quote score or how narrowly we lost this game and that. West Ham beat Man U does not mean West Ham is better.
The gap is just too big at the moment and I don't see how we can close it with the current Sleague.
I don't think I think too lowly of our national team and I did not say Lionel Lewis MVP (Tiger Cup) and nomination AFC is a fluke.
What I am saying is from a soccer fan point of view. Do you want to watch a Sleague match with 2000 fans or a Malaysia Cup match with 50000 people.
I am against Sleague current format and all for the Malaysia Cup format. You can say it's Singapore playing against state teams, but isn't it better than watching the Army play Police, Sengkang play Woodlands.
Soccer is a spectator sports and you need this key element for the sport itself to be successful.
You will have more boys willing to take up the sport and this dream of playing in front of 50000 spectators. -

Malaysia needs Singapore and Singapore needs Malaysia for the Malaysia Cup format. Malaysia itself is having the same issues as our Sleague.
I can bet to my last $, if now Malaysia invite us to play (and stop Sleague), our current FAS administration will say NO and will quote you Sleague have million viewers worldwide and blah blah blah.
FAS, talk to FAM lah and FAM talk to FAS too. -

play in the Malaysia Cup and build the national stadium at Sentosa IR? Since it's won by Genting, since we have Singapore Pools and since soccer betting is punting.
Before and after the match, visit the makan, shopping and if win SingaporePools $, spend or double it at the casino.
50000 people to Sentosa on alternate week will be good! -
