Gary Neville of Manchester United, will not be involved in a friendly match when England meet Holland in Midweek due to injury. Sad to see Gary got injured.

ye, he has been beset by injuries since the world cup.
maybe fergie can consider resting him for longer term, like 1-2 mths. anyway brown and o shea can deputise for gary. -

gary neville was one of the best right back in EPL few seasons ago and contribute to man utd alot and one of the most consisent player and yet you

imo, Gary is not that bad a player, but then Gimpheng.. let me teach you another couple of things in football..
1.supporting a club doesn't means that you have to agree to whatever your club did, you need to be rational abt whats happening too..
2. Fans do have their likes and dislike which is what we commonly called opinions.. you dun have to agree with whatever ppl tells you or post ard here..you have your personnal opinion(s) but at the same time ppl are also entitled to their opinion(s)..
3. to dun have to blindly support what fellow fans said of the same club that you both support, like this instance, even thou me and him support the same club but when i disagree to his opinion(s) it doesn't makes any one of us any less supporter of our preferred club...

for me, i think due to his injury, he was slow to come back.
and i think he needs more rest to clear this calf injury once and for all.
frankly, he is aka beckham in that he provides width, and credit to GVN, his crosses are still better than what we got in JOshea or Brown.
as for his size, yes, you are right, SAF did mention that given his build, if he were to be bigger, he would be a perfect CB, but rem, he is a wing-back so they need to be fast to deal with wingers.
And to me, he adds that bit of steel like Scholes that seems to be lacking.
Like a "don't mess with MUFC or else". We need a few of those in the team.
but in the last game, Evra seems out of position so many times, that thankfully for Giggs, the left side was covered. -

its true he is 31 and not getting any younger and faster, but he is still good for man u and england for a couple of years yet. maybe alex shdnt have sold phil, as his bro is 29 and can double as left back and defensive midfielder.
one rite back i like is glen johnson and miguel of portugal. maybe alex shd consider bidding for em as long term replacement for gary. -
I don't forseen Chelsea players coming to MUFC or vice versa.
but we def need a long term replacement. better a dynamic one. -

i oso used to dun like GN, esp when he lose out on a tackle, he has this f**k look on his face. Moreover, last time when Beckham was around, he did not join the attack that often.
This season, due to change in strategy, he goes up more often, joining the attack, crossing balls, etc. - i.e. in a way more visible. Frankly, I watched him against BB last weekend, and din really noticed that he got a strain in the first half - hence i was quite surprised to see him get substituted.
maybe bcos this season he was made captain, he more on a bit, but personally, before this season, i dun really like him and thot he shld be sold instead of his brother Phil. -

It means "USED TO BE BUT NO LONGER".
I did say that he's not suitable for today's EPL matches HOWEVER, by adding the word "any more", I DID mention that he was suitable for the game BEFORE.
Oh by the way, i never post that Neville was a good player doesn't necessary mean that I dont think he once was.
It's like some fan kept posting nonsense and people urging that fan to re-think, re-analyse and re-evaluate and yet that fan thinks that everyone hated that fan's favourite team and starts barking wildly but the actual fact remains that the people are kind-hearted souls who had no intention of criticising the club and wants to help that fan to understand the meaning of "Not to support your favourite club blindly."
