Chelsea players accusing of Graham Poll

Terry, Lampard and Cole said Poll uttered that Chelsea shd be taught a lesson during last sunday matches.
Terry said Poll changed his mind for his sending off, initially for his altercation with Ledley King.
my take in this matter is Poll is carrying a microphone and his assistant and ref assessors at the match would have listened if Poll really said chelsea needed to be taught a lesson isn't it. I would urge people to critically think and analyse chelsea players claim.
how ironic it came from chelsea players mouth, as they were the ones who got the bad decision from Poll isnt it. I rather listened to Poll's and the assistants and ref assessor's explanation than chelsea players if FA really investigate this matter. if players can dive to get a pk, they will also lie isnt it to get the ref into trouble, especially when they dun get the decisions from refs.
In court, will the jury or judge listen to the accused version or the victim's and prosecutors one? -

i think players these days are paranoia and have no qualms lying and cheating if their team can get an unfair advantage.
its getting unsportingly now soccer, when players dived for a pk, managers refusing to shake other managers hand in defeat, players conning refs to get the player sent off, managers accusing refs for something they didnt do or enter the dressing room, lying they were not there at the hotel with the player in the tapping up affair.
whatever happen to sporting code of conduct or ethics -

but lie is to intentionally done to gain unfair advantage.
if poll did said teach chelsea a lesson, how come his 2 assistants and ref assessors at the match didmt hear that. some more, the microphone is taped and recorded I think. FA can always replay back the tape and listen to the conversation.
imagine the jury or judge taking the sides of the accused like rapists or murderers version of events instead of the victims or prosecutors, what justice can that be. common sense prevails. -

dun really want to comments much abt Chelsea match cos whatever i said would have been seen as an attack against HIS team.. but on Poll's other match.. i kinda believe that James McFadden did said something pretty offensive to him but whether its Fcuking Cheat or Fcuking Sh!t as claimed by McFadden is only known to himself... however Chelsea players imo really went over the line this time round.. they shouldn't have keep bitting on his pants.. getting the ref to quit or to whatever is not going to change anything.. as a matter of fact, its probably going to make ppl pissed if things really boils over anyway like some guys mentioned before.. Form is temporary whereas class is permanent.. and i dun see any class in this at all..

last season why wasnt essien sent off for kneeing didi hamman in the CL?
ref gave essien a yellow card. he shd be sent off. ref 2 lenient to chelsea u mean?
it was a career threatening tackle, he could have split the knee into 2 with that kinda challenge. -

why wasnt flamini booked for celebrating his goal with the arsenal fans?
ballack and shevchenko were booked for the same type of offence.
why wasnt carragher and alonso given a second yellow card for their obvious tackles against arsenal players?

certain extend of leeway are usually given for a top of the table (or of similar nature) games, cos in these games stake are usually high and most players get alittle more tense prior to the game and may have unitentionally over do it hence its a unwritten rule that most big games ref tends to give some form of talking or warning to the err players when they committed the foul usually within the 1st couple of mins but of course provided that the foul is not of injury intended nature.. but then again being a human everyones judgement and feelings towards things are different hence certain foul are being taken over-seriously while others are sometime even serious body injury tackle are being overlooked by the ref.. but thats part and parcel of the game.. move on move on!!!!Originally posted by precipice:are the referees really out to get chelsea?
