Soccer Tips: Becks fined as Real get tough

  DAVID BECKHAMÂ’S Real Madrid troubles deepened last night after he was fined for arriving 10 minutes late for training.
  
  Becks got a sarcastic round of applause from team-mates when he ran from the changing rooms.
  
  The night before the former England captain was spotted chatting to tennis ace Maria Sharapova at the Bernabeu after RealÂ’s 1-0 win over Steaua Bucharest.
  
  This latest blunder was the SECOND time Becks, 31, has failed to turn up on time this season.
  
  The midfielder missed an entire team session on August 16 because a flight from England was delayed — and boss Fabio Capello is not happy.
  
  A spokesman for Beckham said: “He only ran 10 minutes late but there was no issue with the club.”
  
  Beckham admits he is “unhappy” and “frustrated” at Real after being a sub in seven of their last nine games.
  
  And after meeting Sharapova, 19, on Wednesday, he was spotted out late at a restaurant with pal Ronaldo, 30, who is also in CapelloÂ’s bad books.
  
  Ronaldo made it to training on time and stayed on with Beckham for extra shooting drills after most of the squad had left.
  
  Becks was the last to leave after practising free-kicks with Jose Reyes.

  for RM, beckham's role there is to help them gain revenue since he has some commercial value. but footy-wise, he's aging since he's over 30 and any dumb manager know it will be too risky to use him as starting line-up as his stamina is not as good as before.
  
  nowaday star players like to show attitude by boycott training or purposely perform badly to get coach sack. the problem wif RM is they have too many players like raul, ronaldo, r.carlos, beckham, rvn wif big ego n they are unhappy wif coach's decision for dropping them.
