Celtic and Tottenham may be interested in signing Real Madrid midfielder David Beckham in January.
The 31-year-old has not been a regular in Real's first team this season and is out of contract in the summer of 2007.
"I have David's telephone number," Celtic manager Gordon Strachan told the Sunday Telegraph. "He is a wonderful player who is still very fit."
Spurs boss Martin Jol is also a Beckham fan and told the Mail of Sunday: "I'll sit down and have a think about it."
However, Strachan is convinced Beckham, who joined Real in a £25m move from Manchester United in 2003, will not return to the Premiership.
"He could play at the highest level for another three years and I know he would not go to another club in England," said Strachan.
The former England captain has yet to sign a new contract at Real and admits he is frustrated at his lack of action this season after the arrival of new manager Fabio Capello.
He has largely been used as a substitute and missed the match with newly-promoted Gimnastic Tarragona on Saturday because of injury.
There has been increasing speculation linking Beckham to Major League Soccer in the United States.
In January he will be able to negotiate with other clubs and if he does not sign a new deal with Real he will be able to leave at the end of his contract next summer.
if tat info is true then Becks will most likely go Spurs,
cause i remembered he once said tat if he is to return to EPL to play,
it will be a London club..
spurs keep signing players but they hardly improved.
I believe Beckham had also said before he will not return to Premiership unless it is for Manchester United. So i dun think he will go back to EPL. Celtic maybe possible..
