Should david beckham gets a recall from england manager, Steve McClaren? It seems like he's getting weaker. Do you all agree too? Should or should not get a recall for Beckham? Here's your comments. maybe he should get recalled in euro championship for his set-piece. but i feel he should not be inclusive in the starting-lineup.
every players should earn their right for recall n no players should be labelled as 'untouchable'. i hope the manager will not show favourism like the previous one. -
No but if it was a move to replace carrick then yes better than carrick @ least.........he can deliver better long ball and have more stamina and willing to defence compare to carrick

Maybe you're right. But hey, who deserves to replace david beckham on the right flanks? Or should i say, who has the best to replace all the set-pieces, free-kicks and even crosses? right now wenger is training walcott as winger n it amaze me walcott can play better n became man of match last saturday. maybe walcott should start training as winger instead of striker for regular lineup in arsenal. who know england might need him one day? -

When Gerrard or Rooney play well, England plays well. Can't say the same for Lumpa.

i feel it's unfair to defoe who perform well. maybe the manager should play 4-3-3 wif rooney as middle support for defoe n crouch. -

Yeh feel sorry for defoe too...he's such a character, never say die and unassuming. Think McClaren will experiment with Ashton too. Darren Bent can forget it for now, charlton are bottom......poor chap -

the reasons why i feel david beckham should not get recall at the present moment:
1) he is an egomania who feel he's 'untouchable' n care only how to do style on field;
2) as he is a former captain, he might play politics (most RM players are one of the kind who made their coaches left) n boss the players around which might be lead to coach sacking;
3) he's aging n becoming slow comparing to lennon;
4) the media will be focus more on WAGs cos his wife is there, this will distracted the players;
5) england players are too depending on his crosses, they will play defensive n boring long ball approach;
6) etc
england has to look ahead n give young players a chance. -

lampard is good, but not good enuff. please if u wanna compare pls use statistics from international competitions not from epl. ur not playing against epl teams rite? so epl stats would b irrelevant in international competitions. and quite alot of lampards goals r from penalties?

Gerrard won the European Cup. Lampard didn't. In Europe, that matters. And Lampard cannot stamp his influence on a game the way Gerrard does. Try to watch more Pool games and u know what i mean.

Like u said, lack of stamina. But he can galvanise fellow teammates when it comes to the crunch. Any idea why only he and Terry were considered for Captain selection? And speaking of Terry, his shortcomings are covered very often by Gallas. He was nowhere when Eduardo scored for Croatia that night. Sighz...England needs better players, agree?
