Chelsea sub Joe Cole branded their clash at Reading on Saturday "World War Three" after seeing goalkeepers Petr Cech and Carlo Cudicini rushed to hospital.
Cole said: "It was like being in the middle of World War Three out there.
"It's an amazing feeling when you come through a match like this because it seems like you've won a war.
"We knew it was going to be a battle because this is a horrible place for any team who wants to get the ball down and play.
"Players like JT love games like this because they can show their fighting qualities. But Barcelona and Reading will be like chalk and cheese.
"I don't want to comment on Hunt's challenge. I just hope one or both of our keepers will be back soon. It was a strange, strange game.
"When Petr came off I said I'd have to go in goal if Carlo also got injured. But I don't think they were too keen to put me between the sticks.
"I've messed about in goal in training but JT is much better than me.
"I didn't think they'd want to put a central defender in goal for the last two minutes."
Jose Mourinho added: "I knew that of the outfield players JT is the best keeper.
"But it was a difficult decision to put him in goal.
"I was thinking about Joe Cole because he's not bad in goal but only if you're playing five-a-side with small posts.
"In the end I had no choice. JT had to go in goal and I brought Didier Drogba into the middle of the defence for the last few minutes. They all did a brilliant job." -
Blues can borrow Bolton keeper - Allardyce
Bolton boss Sam Allardyce is ready to come to Jose Mourinho's aid and offer the Chelsea manager the use of one of his goalkeepers.
The Blues are in the midst of a goalkeeping crisis after both Petr Cech and Carlo Cudicini suffered head injuries in Saturday's Premiership win at Reading.
And Allardyce has told his Portuguese counterpart he would gladly loan him Ian Walker or Oman international Ali Al-Habsi.
A Bolton spokesman told PA Sport: 'Sam said yesterday we've got three world-class keepers in our ranks.
'He suggested in the last couple of weeks that if we can get these keepers out on loan, then that's something we will consider.
'He did say last night that if Jose or Chelsea come enquiring about them, we will certainly talk to them.'
Meanwhile, the Football Association will look at referee Alan Wiley's report before deciding whether to take any action against El-Hadji Diouf for his goal celebrations or alleged bust-up with Newcastle backroom staff during Bolton's 2-1 Premiership win at St James' Park yesterday.
Diouf celebrated in front of the home fans after netting twice inside two minutes, while television pictures showed him being dragged down the tunnel by Bolton officials following his 87th-minute substitution.
'Our first port of call would be to see if the referee puts anything in what we call an extraordinary incident report,' an FA spokesman told PA Sport.
'We're going through those reports at the moment.
'If there was a cause for concern, the second thing we'd do would be to contact the clubs and see if there's any observations they can provide.'
Should charges be brought, Diouf's previous conduct - which includes bans from both the FA and UEFA for spitting at opponents - could be taken into consideration by the FA Disciplinary Commission.
'When it comes to the hearing, they can bear that in mind - it's at their discretion,' the spokesman added. -

"When I saw the moment that Petr was hurt, I was horrified," Cechova Cech told The Times. "I thought maybe he was suffering from some kind of concussion, but after speaking to his wife [Martina], we were told that his injuries were getting worse."
Cechova - like Josßourinho, the Chelsea manager - claimed that the collision was not an accident. "When I saw it on TV, Hunt looked like he wanted to kill Petr," Cechova said. "It was terrible to see." -
