  Singapore Slingers....They are offering one ticket price for two person entry???
  Would u consider buying?...I saw one match the indoor stadium was only occupied by a handful of australians...Will you go???Is there any hope for singapore basketball?

  The team right now is mainly made up of Australians and they are playing in the NBL (Aussie league). Maybe when they start putting in Singaporeans in their line up, the fan base will grow.

  The sparse crowd at the home games are a sad sight...

  You have to be joking then they would be the laughing stock of the league please give me a break.No one would bother turning up as Sings generally like to follow winners.

  sg baksetball needs more promoting... they might want to start showing nba n local league matches to bring the interest back... now all on tv is golf n football.... wheres basketball?

  saw them win their first home game against one of the more fancied team in the nbl and saw some good players, mike helms is one.
  
  but i only saw one local player in the team and he doesn't even make the bench.
  need more local players in there in the future..
  
  also, most of the players shld be living in aussie...playing a home game is actually an away game to them.??

  The Singapore slingers have added 2 singaporeans to their rookie list. they are doing pretty good in the NBL for a debutant team

  Yea. There's also American and Indian players if I remember correctly.

  ytd finally saw our only two local players play in the last two min against west sydney, and they both scored or!!
  
  and we thrash west sydney by more than 30pts.
