Manchester United defender Mikael Silvestre has mocked champions Chelsea, declaring they're weaker this season.
Silvestre said: "Are Chelsea untouchable? I have the feeling rather that their machine can get jammed at the moment and that they are not as strong as last year. That's my impression.
"Let's just carry on in our own sweet way without looking at others and see how things go."
United and England star Wayne Rooney also believes the morale of Mourinho's side could be affected by having stars frozen out of the team.
Rooney said: "Chelsea are going to have some top stars sitting on the bench and you can see how that unnerves some players."

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson believes player power is the biggest challenge facing football managers nowadays.
Much of the fiery Scotsman's success has been built on the foundation of strict loyalty and adherence to the fact that no one player is bigger than the club.
"There is a player ego that you have to deal with. As a coach the one thing you must have is control," Ferguson told The Tactician magazine.
"You can't afford to let players take charge of a training session, there has to be a strong discipline in the training and in general.
"Simple rules must apply such as time-keeping and concentration at training.
"More and more we are dealing with player power. I grew into all of that but a young coach must realise that he is walking straight into all of that.
"They have to find a way of navigating all of these pressures.
"Another thing of course is the pressure of results. When I came into the game the media demands were less than we have today, and there were no agents or freedom of contract back then.
"If you have a good chairman and board you are lucky, if not then you have to handle that situation as well." -

i think Silvestre did great on this instance, playing mind games at a time when Chelsea seems alittle jerky with their star player seemingly not able to find their scoring boots, missing penalty, can't perform..etc seriously, if there is a proper time to start playing mind games this should be one of those good time to do so, but don't know if it will work on Chelsea players and manager but at least it did stir up our fellow forumers

ya this season is what is most important but we should not disregard what the club has achieve
just like we should not disregard that brazil have won the world cup 5 times instead blaming on them on losing out 2 frace in the semi-finals -
