any comments on the squad? any players u tink he missed out or shouldnt b there? personally, i feel tat mclaren's selection is kinda weird. IMO, Scott Parker definitely deserves to b in tat list. -
parker is suay, esp now that hargreaves is main man..but i'm sure sooner or later he'll get called up..

England will beat those 2 teams home and away, but heck even if they qualified, so what?
They will continue to disappoint and qualify for quarters and losing on PK again. -

I am a Liverpool fan and i wish Carson would be in instead of Foster. But the fact remains that Carson hardly played last season while Foster had a really good season with Watford in the Championships last season.

because mcclaren could see foster as a better gk than carson. to be honest, carson does not deserve a call-up. Looking at how he played for pool whenever he got his chance, you would have expected it. 1) Andorra's 2006 entry into the Eurovision Song Contest ('Sense Tu'

In three attempts they have never yet reached the final. Which is only
marginally worse than our recent record.
2) Little Spanish tennis player Arantxa Sanchez Vicario lives in Andorra.
We're sure this has absolutely nothing to do with Andorra having no income
tax.
3) Life expectancy in Andorra is a massive 83.51 years - the highest in the
world. They also have absolutely no unemployment.
4) Andorrans are a minority in their own country. The population of around
70,000 is 43% Spanish and just 33% Andorran, while there's a fair smattering
of Portuguese and French types.
5) The Andorran football team have managed just three victories in their
short ten-year history; against Belarus, Albania and Macedonia - the last of
those coming in October 2004, the first in a competitive fixture.
6) Ildefonso Lima Solá is their highest-ever goalscorer with a massive total
of four goals. This did not earn him the title of Golden Player of Andorra
though - that went to traditionally very busy goalkeeper Koldo.
7) Andorra will have to survive without Ildefenso on Saturday at Old
Trafford as he is serving a six-match ban for spitting at an Armenian. Marc
Bernaus will also miss the game as he is playing for Elche in the Spanish
second division.
Jazz legends like Miles Davis, Fats Domino and BB King have all played at
the famous (in jazz circles) Escaldes-Engordany festival in Andorra.
9) There are no airports or railways stations in Andorra, but they are
considering creating a 'Metro Aeri' - basically an elevated cable system.
Which sounds fun.
10) Andorra play their home games at The Estadio Comunal de Aixovall,
boasting a massive capacity of 1604, which should just about house all the
England footballers' WAGS and hangers-on when the two teams play there next year.
11) The food in Andorra is mainly of a Catalan flavour - specialities
include coques (flavoured flat cakes), trinxat (a potato and cabbage dish)
and truites de carreroles (mushroom omelette).
12) FIFA's rankings have Andorra sitting pretty in a respectable 132nd spot.
This makes them marginally worse than St. Vincent and the Grenadines but
slightly better than Lesotho. Surprisingly, they're quite a bit worse than
Scotland. -
