Chelsea & Toons target is not 21 but 28?

The Magpies are looking into reports from Nigeria that the wantaway striker Obafemi Martins is possibly SIX YEARS older than his official age of 21.
This mix-up came to light after claims Martins played alongside Toon defender Celestine Babayaro — who is 28 in 14 days — in the Nigerian youth set-up.
Valencia and Portsmouth were also keen on the speedster who has demanded a move after falling down InterÂ’s pecking order.
Man... if anyone had bought this guy at the high price inter are asking thinking he was 21 with another 10yrs to 12yrs to play wil get sucker by the Nigerian when they found out he is actually 28yrs old.
Another Nigerian scammer.

No discrimination. But seriously, black players seem to be able to last many years more. Martins can certainly last at least 5 years more.

The Toon chief will watch Kuyt, 26, against the Republic tonight.
But Roeder faces competition from Liverpool for the £8m-rated star.
He said: “I have watched Kuyt. He is not the quickest striker but knows how to score.
