Much as I hope its Gerrard, I tink McClaren would opt for a defender.
So the captaincy would most likely go to Terry. -

The ones talking are mainly in the running for the captain post namely, Terry, Lampard & Gerrard. At least Owen had the balls to say it before Sven left... The other 3 waited until sven left then shoot their worthless thoughts out as if they didn't play a part during the WC.
What a disgusting thing to do for Gerrard & Lampard at least Terry only said good thing about Steve McClaren and not badmouth Sven after he is gone.
but lampard? SGE had given lampard too much dat made him so untouchable dat even he was off-form n shooting blank. to think dat he backstabbed SGE n it amazed me.
SGE also deserved it since he practiced favourism. -
did it occur 2 y'all tt sometimes they `court' controversy in their books just so they can sell a few more?... these books got short life span...after a few months, there are all in the discount bin...dun believe wait for mph warehouse sales....full of football autobio tt's going for cheaps...

It doesnÂ’t matter what they are trying to sell, but its still unethical to stab someone who had help and groom you all these years in the back. It just shows this people are not worthy of being the captain or even a friend. I hope McClaren is wise enough to makes Terry his captain, as he is probably the best choice compare to the other 2 back-stabber. He would be blind to choose the 2 back-stabber Gerrard or Lampard to be his captain. -
