All these Ungrateful players

First it was Owen, then Gerrard now Lampard... These fellows got no honour at all. They are now criticizing sven for their WC exit. Its as if it was only his fault... When a team fail, its the responsibility of the whole team and not just one man.
I can't believe that this Lampard actually dare to criticize sven... Maybe he should take a good long look at himself in the mirror and ask if he played well or not during the WC! when he himself was one of the biggest under-performer for them during the WC. How can he be critical of sven when he was the manager that give him his England chance, played him all the time, even during the WC when he was playing badly too.
It must be really sad for Sven to find out someone you brought out and put your trust in can stab you in the back once you turn away. It just shows what kind of character this Lampard is... I bet he wouldn't be saying all this if Sven was still the Manager of England.
A really lousy character this Lampard have, just disgusting. How can you trust this type of people again. Mourinho better be careful or one day he get stub in the back also. -

Count Lampard himself lucky that he was on the first eleven despite his awful showing. Tactically, Sven may have his negatives but players still have to perform their very best. Lampard did not, simple as that.

yeah, dunno what's lampard up to, if he connects with his shots during the WC, ingerland wld have done better. fancy him taking a dig @ sven when he's also one of the biggest culprits contributing to ingerland's flop....

Maybe he is trying for a shot to be captain also... as it has not been decided yet and since Terry & Gerrard are strong contenders, he try to speak up to get notice... But a cheap shot!

I think Lampard performed better overall compared to other england colleagues, despite him performing way below his standards....and also, the standards which are expected of him are very high.
Anyway, i would agree with Lampard too that sven should have brought another more experienced striker, like maybe defoe or darren bent. Especially when 2 of their strikers r already on the injury list and 1 is a not a consistent goalscorer, while the last one is a teenager. -

I didn't think he did well @ all. in fact, i can't think of any member of sven's squad doing well, except for aaron lennon as sub.
in fact, i think the best performers in the ingerland squad are the players tt didn't play.... -

SGE was at fault! for choosing Lampard n letting him in the games for too long when it's a fact he had failed his form. i hope england dropped him!

All these money grabbing England players just wanna write something to sell and of cos will go all ends to make their books attention grabbing. A boring book won't sell.
I'm sure it will be Sven's turn to collate all these criticisms and respond to them under his own separate title!
By virtue of his statements in his new book, he can almost rule out the thought of being captain. Why would any manager want a captain who is capable of bad mouthing his decisions?
All players should aspire to be a Paul Scholes. Keep your head down and be professional about the game. You don't need recognition on the catwalk. -
Now its Terry's turn but this guy is smarter, he is not criticizing sven like Lampard instead he is doing it the other way round, by saying good things about McClaren... Talk about carrying balls (angkat bodak)...

They are saying all this just for the sake to be captain? You can put someone down, someone that had help you just for your own selfish gains then i say they have lost the respect of people even before they are made captain.
A Captain should be someone responsible and respected... unfortunately, these fellows are shameless ingrates! -

When only 1 or 2 players are complaining, u can say its just that they are angry and bitter, but if more than that, then u got to wonder if they are right after all. I mean, the continued belief in Beckham in the starting 11 and as the captain is just 1 of several errors Sven made. And then when u consider how he shoot his mouth off to an undercover reporter a few months b4 the WC, and its understandable why he is not the players' fave.

Well, if you think they are all doing this with the sole purpose of only trying to impress Steve McClaren.
The ones talking are mainly in the running for the captain post namely, Terry, Lampard & Gerrard. At least Owen had the balls to say it before Sven left... The other 3 waited until sven left then shoot their worthless thoughts out as if they didn't play a part during the WC.
What a disgusting thing to do for Gerrard & Lampard at least Terry only said good thing about Steve McClaren and not badmouth Sven after he is gone. -
Lampard? Haha.. I couldn't care less about that fella. Before he starts shooting at Eriksson perhaps he should take a look at his own shooting record at WC2006.
In any case, my vote goes to John Terry for the post of captain. -
1st choice captain: gerrard
2nd: terry
3rd: owen
but............... in a few years time, one guy will be the future captain
